A team-based shooter game, Overwatch will be ready to return to present the World Cup after being absent for 4 years. Carrying out a bigger concept, it is now confirmed that the Overwatch World Cup 2023 will have 36 participating countries, including Indonesia.
As one of the countries with a rapidly growing esports scene, Indonesia now has a ticket to Overwatch as an additional country. Apart from Indonesia, other Asian countries will also become the new national teams, they are Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and India. Later the new national teams or teams that have already participated will try to snatch victory from the United States as the defending champion in 2019 and also South Korea as the world champion 3 times.
