The Dota 2 game has just received a major update with patch 7.33 entitled New Frontiers. This update introduces a variety of new features in the game, especially the Dota 2 map which is getting wider and more interesting.

The Dota 2 map is now expanded to 40% bigger than before. Apart from that, players will also find new resources that can be used to develop new strategies.

The main forest on the Dota 2 map has also been completely reconfigured, changing the placement of visions, juke lanes, and farming areas, among other features. After relying on the same map for a long time, Dota 2 finally presents new interesting features in the game. Here are some interesting new Dota 2 map updates :

1. Roshan’s Pin

Roshan's Pit is now available in two places, namely in the northwest and southeast corners of the map. This place is adjacent to Secret Shops. Roshan no longer drops Aghanim's Shards. He will drop Cheese on the second death, and a Refresher Shard or Scepter on the third death, depending on the location of death.

2. Twin Gates

Twin Gates connect the corners of the map near the safe passage towers, allowing players to move instantly from one side of the map to the other.

3. Lotus Pools

Lotus Pools are located on the left and right sides of the map (close to where the creeps first meet). This area periodically produces edible fruit, providing bonus Mana and HP. Players can collect these fruits and combine them into bigger and higher value fruits.

4. Tormentors dan Watchers

Tormentors are powerful neutral creeps that spawn near every base after 20 minutes. They are equipped with megashields (damage reflection). In addition, their strength will increase each time they are killed. Watchers are similar to Tormentors, but are focused on the vision aspect. They are neutral and must be activated by the player to provide vision to the surrounding area for 7 minutes or until an enemy sabotages them. When a team kills Roshan, all Watchers will support them.

5.Defender’s Gate

Defender's Gate is the back door to your base. This feature allows your team to enter and prevent enemy teams from exiting your base.

6. Wisdom Runes dan Shield Runes

Wisdom Runes appear near the base and give bonus XP to players who collect them. The Shield Rune can be found in the river. This rune will provide a barrier of 50% of the player's Max HP.

7. New Creep Camps dan New Outposts

There are 12 new locations from creep camps scattered in the jungle that has been expanded. In addition, the position of the old outpost is also adjusted. This patch will be very exciting, because it will be released before the start of the Berlin Major on April 26, 2023.
